KEMET Pulse Discharge capacitors are available in four case sizes from 2824 to 4540 Inches. 100% matte tin comes as the standard termination to meet RoHS and REACH compliance but tin-lead (SnPb) is available as an option for higher reliability applications. Please note that the ordering code is similar to most KEMET surface mount ceramic capacitors. The combination of an “H” in the sixth position and a “W” in the thirteenth character position denote high temperature pulse discharge capacitors. The eleventh character position of the ordering code identifies the Dielectric Withstanding Voltage (DWV) capacitor. Because typical applications for this device require them to only be used once in a detonation application, these capacitors are rated at DWV rather than working voltage. DWV voltage exceeds the nominal and continuous working voltage of the capacitor. For the working voltage of the capacitor, please refer to the KEMET Pulse Discharge datasheet.
