Military and Aerospace storage applications require the highest level of performance and reliability often operating in hostile environments. Many systems within military and aerospace applications perform a function in some way related to mission-critical operation of the larger system or platform, making the performance, reliability, and functionality of the memory devices imperative. The DRAM or Flash storage devices used in these applications must therefore operate flawlessly while exposed to extreme temperatures and high mechanical shock and vibration loads.
