Because of this, TDK can now offer a lineup of discreet type products of pulse transformers and common mode chokes mounted on LAN interfaces while having more freedom with component layouts and saving more space in substrate designs when compared with those of conventional module types.

By conforming to the automatic winding method, the products in the ALT series ensure higher quality and reliability than those of toroidal coil products, where wire processing is difficult during the manufacturing process, and are optimal pulse transformers for information equipment, where communication quality is becoming more important.
