The ferrite plate suppresses the interference between the antenna pad and the metal housing and keeps the flow of magnetic flux between the transmitting antenna and the receiving antenna clean. Therefore, it contributes to improving the efficiency of a WPT system. KEMET’s BH1T ferrite material has been developed specifically to maintain low core loss characteristics over a broad temperature range, and thus improving the efficiency of the wireless charging power supply system on a wide temperature range. KEMET’s FPL low-loss ferrite tiles are available in three different standard size footprints with each time a choice of thicknesses from 4 up to 20 mm. The operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +125°C and the series is AEC-Q200 qualified.
