In summary, CoreHC™ is available in vertical, edge launch and right-angle type mounting configurations. Only edge launch type needs the board side connector while other two types can be mounted directly on board without any soldering. Complete signal integrity simulations and measurements are also offered for customer’s board stack ups and layouts optimizing the designs for the lowest losses. High density and design flexibility is offered with 2.5 mm channel to channel spacing in both standard and custom CoreHC solutions saving board space and cost. Finally, CIT can offer better pricing than the competition with vertical integration and the ability to manufacture, assemble and test the coax cables and RF connectors all by itself internally at various factories.
