Microchip's RN2483 Long Range Transceiver | Digi-Key Daily

Digi-Key Daily previews Microchip's RN2483 Long Range Transceiver for industrial monitoring and control, machine to machine interface, and the Internet of Things. Microchip's transceiver measures in at 17.8x26.7x3 millimeters and spans a 15 kilometer range while using only 40 milliamps during transmission. The RN2483 long range transceiver features a simple UART interface that uses ASCII commands, making it easy-to-use.
