To construct a coded part number for the MS series use the breakdown shown here. Start with the letters MS in the position 1; enter the specification number in position 2 to indicate the termination type; the desired shell style in position 3; the service class in position 4; the desired shell size in position 5; a contact insert arrangement in position 6; the contact type, pin or socket, in position 7; and the insert arrangement rotation in position 8 if desired, or leave blank for normal rotation.
