This presentation will explain the basics of magnetic fields and motor control with a review of the challenges of stepper motor control design, and will present the innovative solutions STMicroelectronics brings to the market. The easySPIN and dSPIN platforms which handle most of the requirements and make the design of a stepper motor a fairly simple task will be reviewed.
