High load current (Io max=1.5A) makes these LED drivers ideal for multiple, series connected, high power LED configurations. The low 0.2V feedback voltage reduces loss at the constant current feedback resistor, while the 900kHz switching frequency decreases applicable coil size. Multiple protection circuits are built in, including overcurrent protection and thermal shutdown. Additional features include a wide supply voltage range (Vcc=8V ~ 35V) and a high heat dissipation package (TO252S-5 or DPAK). Please refer to applicable application notes for selection of the input and output caps as well as the output coil.
