The LTC4071’s key market differentiators include integrated battery pack protection, an ultra-low operating current of 550nA, pin-selectable low-battery disconnect levels of 2.7V or 3.2V, and 1% float accuracy over the full temperature and shunt current range. Other key features are pin selectable float options of 4.0V, 4.1V or 4.2V; ultralow power thermistor float voltage conditioning for lithium-ion and lithium-polymer protection; and a 50mA maximum internal shunt current. The LTC4071 is suitable for very-low-power, intermittent or continuous, charging sources.
