Here is a comparison table summary of the latest programmable crystal oscillators from Epson, the SG-8018 and SG-8101 series. They both use the latest Fractional-N PLL technology to synthesize any frequency from 0.67MHz to 170MHz. They both offer a wide operating temperature. The SG-8101 series, with integrated temperature compensation, offers higher stability. Both series are available in 4 standard packages and they are pin-to-pin compatible with standard fixed-frequency oscillators in the package size.
