Battery Connectors

The Weidmüller Battery Connector (WBC) makes it possible to connect several individual batteries to energy storage systems (ESS) in just a few simple steps and to disconnect the connections just as quickly if required. For safety and easy handling the poles are clearly marked: the positive pole in orange and the negative pole in black.

With the use of renewable energy, it is becoming increasingly important to store the energy so that it can be called up when it is needed. For this purpose, there are ESS which in turn consist of individual battery packs. The WBC successfully connects these packs with each other.

Whether in smaller storage systems for home use or in large battery containers, the WBC covers a wide range of applications with sizes up to 120 A and up to 200 A.

On the connector side, conductor cross-sections from 10 mm^² to 50 mm^² can be connected. On the mating part, there is a busbar where the conductor can be easily connected on the device side by means of a cable lug.
