The Stackpole CSSU2512 chip resistor is designed to handle 5 W in a compact 2512 chip size. This resistor features a low TCR of ±50 ppm. Its robust design and construction utilize an internal heatsink to reduce thermal resistance, thereby allowing high power handling with the lowest possible thermal impact on the PCB and surrounding components. This enhances long-term stability and reliability at high power levels and temperatures. Additionally, the metal body structure of the CSSU2512 eliminates concerns about component cracking or solder joint stress due to board flex or temperature gradients. The CSSU2512 is ideal for power management and control applications that require higher power densities such as AI datacenter power, without compromising accuracy and stability.
