PSoC® 4000S Prototyping Kit

The PSoC® 4000S prototyping kit enables users to evaluate and develop with Infineon's fourth-generation, low-power CapSense® solution: the PSoC 4000S, Infineon's first PSoC4 with an ARM® Cortex®-M0+ core. This kit is designed with a snap-away form factor, allowing users to separate the KitProg (on-board programmer and debugger) from the target board and use it independently.

The PSoC 4000S device features up to 32 KB Flash, 4 KB SRAM, 6 programmable analog blocks, 7 programmable digital blocks, 36 general purpose I/Os all capable of CapSense, and 16 Smart I/Os. This capacitive-sensing solution reliably works in noisy environments and in the presence of liquids.

This prototyping kit enables the user to quickly evaluate and develop with CapSense by using two capacitive boards: one featuring three capacitive buttons and the second featuring a five-segment capacitive slider, both capable of self- and mutual-capacitive sensing. It provides easy access to all of the devices’ I/Os in a breadboard-compatible format and also includes an EZ-BLE™ PRoC™ module, an LED, and a push button.

This kit also contains an on-board programmer and debugger, designed using PSoC 5LP, that can support industry standard programming interfaces like CMSIS-DAP and drag-and-drop programing.
