Cinch’s Micro-D product line provides EMI protection features directly into Micro-D cable assemblies

Image of Cinch Shielded Micro-D Cable Assemblies and JumperCinch’s Micro-D product line Dura-Con is providing EMI protection features directly into Micro-D cable assemblies for signal protection in satellite communications and electronic warfare. The features include 360° gold-plated bonding gaskets on plugs and integrated backshells for mounting braided sleeves. These assemblies are available as pigtails and jumpers. Target applications are satellites and equipment used for signal intelligence and other electronic warfare systems that require signal protection.

  • Specify a jumper assembly without incurring engineering costs
  • Improve signal integrity at connector interface with EMI gasket on plugs
  • Improve signal integrity along circuit pathway with braided sleeve over wire bundle
  • Reduce space and weight with integrated backshells for mounting braided and abrasion protection sleeves
  • Reduce abrasion wear with protective overshells
