Melexis MLX90397 3D Magnetometer | Datasheet Preview
The Melexis MLX90397 magnetometer with Triaxis® 3D Hall effect technology is ideally suited for cost-effective battery-powered applications. The MLX90397 is a 16-bit three-axis sensor device with a magnetic field range of up to 50 milliteslas and an adaptive range on the z-axis of up to 200 milliteslas. The user can choose the fields to measure - BX, BY, BZ, and temperature - or a combination with programmable filtering and selectable operating modes. Captured data is converted into a digital form and then transferred over an I squared C interface. The MLX90397 is designed to address 1.8, 2.2, and 3.3 volt applications. With an outstanding signal-to-noise ratio, the MLX90397 designers no longer need to compromise between noise characteristics and power consumption.
