Digi TransPort offers their WR44RR rugged cellular routers for the transportation field. These ruggedized enterprise-class cellular routers are ideal for the on-board passenger rail applications due to their security features and performance. They offer 3G and 4G multicarrier cellular plus integrated Wi-Fi access points, serial, and a 4-port Ethernet switch. Communication interfaces include hardened connectors, including M12 for Ethernet and serial as well as TNC connectors for antenna connections. The routers offer dual SIM for carrier redundancy, cellular to Wi-Fi auto-switch, and can be managed by Digi Remote Manager configuration, device management, and troubleshooting tools. They are designed for use in North America, Europe, Middle East, and Africa, or Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand, depending on model number.
