Brushless Motor Control Drivers
Toshiba brushless DC motor control solutions are for sensorless motors with simple square wave drive
Toshiba offers a broad range of fully integrated drivers that can simplify many low-power designs, semi-integrated controllers with gate drivers for medium-power applications, and highly configurable controllers for a wide range of voltage and power designs with flexibility. Toshiba solutions are suitable for sensorless motors typically found in low-inertia rotational devices such as fans, pumps, and vacuums. Toshiba solutions also control sensor-based motors such as robotics, mixers, shredders, grinders, power tools, garage door openers, exercise equipment, and more. Toshiba brushless motor control technologies include:
- Intelligent phase control (IPC) and aligning the driving motor voltage and current in phases that optimizes the power delivery to the load with high efficiency across the operating speed range with simple tunings
- Closed-loop speed control automatically regulates the preset speed without the need for external MCU and peripheral components
- Monitor and output motor current to external host for actions without any external components
- Sensorless sinewave drive offers cost-performance operationd (d: applicable to TC78B011FTG)
- One Hall sensor input for three-phase brushless driving
- Advanced current detection system (ACDS) eliminates sense resistor, saving cost and board space
