CV Series Voltage Transducers for Precise Measurement

The LEM CV series is a compact and highly accurate range of voltage sensors tailored for industrial and traction applications. Designed for precise electronic measurement of various voltage types, DC, AC, and pulsed, CV sensors feature galvanic isolation between primary and secondary circuits for enhanced safety and reliability. These sensors support voltage measurements up to 7 kV, with typical accuracy levels of 0.2% for the CV3 series and 1% for the CV4 series. With a frequency bandwidth spanning up to 800 kHz, depending on the specific model, this series offers flexibility for a wide range of measurement needs. Each sensor is equipped with a primary resistor optimized for peak performance.

CV3 sensors are ideal for low to medium voltage applications, covering a range from 85 V_RMS to 1400 V_RMS while maintaining high bandwidth performance. In contrast, the CV4 series is best suited for high-voltage environments, handling voltages from 2800 V_RMS to 4242 V_RMS with robust insulation. Both series utilize fluxgate C-type closed-loop technology, which ensures high sensitivity and minimal primary ampere-turns. This results in lower primary inductance and resistance, significantly enhancing the sensors’ accuracy, bandwidth, and response time.
