Image of KEMET's SS Series Common Mode ChokesThe KEMET SS coils are offered in a wide variety of sizes and specifications. These gear type coils are designed with KEMET's proprietary ferrite cores and are useful in various noise countermeasure fields. The SS coil has a rectangular core with middle or small size core dimensions and low to middle current (0.3 A to 5 A). They are available in vertical and horizontal assemblies. The optimized core shape and product structure is ideal for demanding compact applications where space is of the highest priority and where smaller is better. Typical applications include audio-visual equipment, office automation equipment, digital appliances, and power supply devices.
