AIROC™ CYW5459x Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® Combo Family

Infineon’s reliable and secure AIROC CYW5459X Wi-Fi and Bluetooth combo portfolio enables IoT edge products to get to market faster across many applications. The high-performance Wi-Fi 6/6E solutions extend users’ edge AI and IoT devices’ capabilities with robust connection, extended range, power savings, low latency, and device synchronization features essential for fully edge computing devices.

The AIROC CYW54590 and CYW54591 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth combos for Linux, Android, and RTOS offer high performance and flexibility when connectivity must stand alone. With on-chip memory and networking protocols, the CYW5459x lowers risk. It eases integration for cloud-connected applications, making it ideal for teleconferencing, video/audio streaming, webcams, and cameras used for live feeds. Edge AI applications can also benefit from the real-time blending of data and extended range for improved cloud connection offered by the CYW5459x devices.

The CYW54590 and CYW54591 SoCs feature advanced synchronization, network intelligence, extended range, lower BT power, industrial temp, and BT5.1 features. Both are dual-band 2x2 Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) + MIMO Bluetooth 5.0 PCIe®/SDIO compliant with advanced coexistence engine for optimal combined Wi-Fi and Bluetooth performance. The RSDB found in the CYW54591 enables concurrent streams in two bands, reducing latency and bringing exceptional experience for online real-time video/audio streaming or gateway applications.
