Fiberglass Enclosures
The compression-molded fiberglass used in nVent Hoffman's enclosures has outstanding chemical- and temperature-resistance qualities
The efficient design and simple construction of nVent Hoffman's enclosures make them durable in corrosive environments yet aesthetically pleasing. The corner latches provide unobstructed access to the enclosures. The continuous hinge provides a secure seal, and the double-latching design and padlock provide added security. The fiberglass material is easily punched or drilled through for easy in-field modifications. Models are available with either solid or windowed doors.
Features
- Gasket assures watertight and dust-tight seal
- Polyester mounting brackets and stainless-steel attachment screws are provided with each enclosure
- Scratch-resistant polycarbonate windows are permanently bonded in place
- Molded-in-place threaded brass inserts and plated steel screws are provided for mounting optional panels and terminal block kits
- Removable hinged cover attached to the body with Type 316 stainless-steel hinge pin
- Enclosures include quick-release latches and have corrosion-resistant polyester latches located in corners that provide unobstructed access to the enclosures
- Hinge pin and bail are corrosion-resistant Type 316 stainless-steel
- Padlock provisions included
