Powerpole® PP180 Series

Anderson Power Products' largest Powerpole housing can be used with wire contacts for up to 3/0 AWG (85 mm²) or busbar contacts

Image of Anderson Power Products' Powerpole® PP180 Series HousingsAs the largest of Powerpole® series housings, Anderson Power Products' PP180 family is designed to accommodate up to 3/0 (70 mm²) wires and handle high currents up to 350 A. Busbar contacts are available for power inputs and takeoffs. Color-coded housings minimize user confusion and the potential of cross-mating circuits.

Features

  • Flat wiping contact system allows for minimal contact resistance at high current, wiping action cleans contact surface during connection/disconnection
  • Interchangeable genderless design makes assembly quick and easy and reduces number of parts stocked
  • Silver-plated contacts offer greatest longevity when using high power, elevated temperature applications
  • Colored coded housings help to ensure that connectors are assembled and mated correctly
  • Molded-in dovetails secure individual connectors together
  • Chemical resistant housings available
  • UL94 V-0 housing material provides security in knowledge that the connector chosen meets strict flammability ratings
  • Wire-to-wire and wire-to-busbar configurations; wire and busbar contacts can be used in the same housings
  • Low-resistance silver-plated copper contacts allow currents up to 350 A
  • UL Rated for hot plugging up to 75 A; great for battery or other applications where the possibility of circuit interruption exists
  • Busbar contacts work with standard housings, providing a quick disconnect system for busbar power distribution
