ADI’s 3rd generation SHARC DSPs include the ADSP-21261 and ADSP-21262. These DSPs have clock speeds of 150 MHz to 200 MHz, non-volatile memory (ROM) of 384 kB and 512 kB, and on-chip RAM of 128 kB and 256 kB. These SHARC devices support 32-bit fixed and floating point, as well as IEEE compatible 32-bit floating point data types. Digital audio interface (DAI) architecture provides complete software programmability of various peripherals as well as ADI’s CROSSCORE development tools which include VisualDSP++™. The ADSP-21261 and ADSP-21262 come in various packages and temperature operational ranges. These are a perfect choice of high-end audio DSPs for automotive, infotainment, voice recognition, and test and measurement applications.
