Advantech’s serial port combiners allow the control and monitoring of several scanners, scales, terminals, or other serial devices with an individual PC. Serial port splitters improve reliability by capturing data from one peripheral on redundant PCs. By sharing multiple PCs on a single peripheral, these serial RS-232 port splitters also help improve the system's economy.
