The memory footprint for the basic library and for the wireless M-BUS are shown on this slide. The basic library takes 20 kB of Flash and 38 bytes of RAM for the STM32L when using all of the features. If only a subset of the SPIRIT1 functionalities is needed, it is possible to customize this library and reduce the memory footprint. For example, a typical application could use as little as 4 kB of Flash. For the wireless M-BUS, the memory footprint is 9.1 kB of Flash and 2 kB of RAM.
