This slide illustrates some of the enhanced functions of the CP10. A 300% power reserve provides ample energy to reliably trip output fuses or circuit breakers in case of a short circuit or overload. The 6A typical inrush minimizes AC drop for other panel devices, and reduces costs for input protection devices. Two seconds of limited extended power, “Hiccup Plus”, is provided to start demanding loads. If the load demands more energy than the power supply can provide, the CP10 protects the load by cycling the energy delivered. This not only protects the loads, it also minimizes system failures.
