Safety limit switches are used in applications where a limit switch is needed for a safety rated applications. The D4B-N safety switches are the safety rated version of Omron’s D4A-N general purpose limit switch and used for similar applications but now requiring a safety rating. The D4F safety switch accommodates miniaturized packaging with a highly sensitive switching mechanism, IP67 rating for use on equipment usually exposed to severe environment for long periods of usage such as machine tooling, automotive manufacturing and robotics. The D4N is a versatile switch with a plastic housing useful for detection of all standard mechanical positions, like machine tools, material handling, palletizer, injection molding, packaging equipment, and automotive hoist/lift machinery.
