XP Power offers ‘next generation’ SMD converters with higher efficiencies and extended operating temperature ranges
XP Power offers fourteen high performance ranges of surface mount (SMD) DC-DC converters rated at 0.25 W, 1 W, 2 W, 3 W, and 6 W of output power with single- and dual-outputs. The range also includes 0.5 A switching regulators.
The various series offer regulated or unregulated outputs with isolation between input and output of 1,500 VDC or 3,000 VDC. Featuring extended operating temperature ranges, the series operate from temperatures as low as -40°C and up to +100°C.
Offering wide 4:1, 2:1, and 1:1 input voltage ranges, the converters are suitable for applications with inputs ranging from 5 VDC to 75 VDC. Comprising single- and dual-output models for versatility, various combinations of single-output models from 3.3 VDC to 24 VDC and dual-output models with ±5 VDC, ±9 VDC, ±12 VDC, ±15 VDC, and ±24 VDC are available.
Specific areas and applications for the converters include portable equipment, broadcast, fixed telecom, instrumentation, networking / datacom / computing, mobile communications, and specialist equipment.
