TMCM-1617 Servo Controller Module

TRINAMIC Motion Control GmbH's robust and highly-qualified single-axis servo controller module is designed for servo drives with 18 A_RMS and 8 V_DC to 28 V_DC. It is also equipped with TMCL, EtherCAT®, or CAN and RS485 interfaces. The ultra-lightweight aluminum housing conforms to DIN EN 60529 and it has a cutting-edge feature set which makes the TMCM-1617 a key enabler for medical, aerospace, and robotics applications.

Capable of previously unachieved high-current loop frequencies to keep the current ripple low, the potted module enables ever-smaller electric drives with extremely high dynamics. It supports a wide range of encoders for position feedback including incremental encoders, analog encoders, and digital Hall sensors as position feedback. This, together with the integrated field-oriented control in hardware and customization options, makes it a highly-efficient solution for rugged servo drives across the board.

TRINAMIC’s potted servo controller module executes a highly-accelerated life test (HALT) with ambient operational temperature from -40°C to +85°C and mechanical vibrations up to 30 G_RMS.
