CPC Off-the-Shelf (OTS) Cable Assemblies

TE Connectivity's (TE) circular plastic connector (CPC) connectors have been a reliable presence in the market for nearly 50 years. As an extension of those well-known products, TE has off-the-shelf (OTS) ready CPC cable assemblies. These cable assemblies are rugged, cost-effective products that can be used to provide power input and output to and from virtually any device. The use of these CPC OTS cable assemblies enables customers to reduce installation time, meet harsh-environment and space-saving requirements, design with high-performance materials, and speed up their go-to-market plans. With a wide variety of CPC-standard cable assemblies to choose from, this will allow the customer to quickly and easily build and test their prototype over a range of different applications.

Materials

• Housings: heat-resistant thermoplastic
• Contacts:
• Copper alloy with stainless-steel retention spring
• Gold over palladium-nickel over nickel plating in the mating area
• Tin over nickel plating in the wire crimp area

Electrical

• Series 1: standard density; signals up to 13 A, 600 V
• Series 2: high density; signal only, 250 V

• Contacts and housing components: UL recognized and CSA certified
