QM45655 Mobile Wi-Fi® Front-End Module (FEM)

The Qorvo QM45655 is a compact, integrated mobile Wi-Fi FEM designed for Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) systems. Its small footprint and integrated matching components reduce the layout area required in the end application.

Engineered for flexibility, the PA is optimized to perform efficiently across a broad supply voltage range (3.0 V to 5.0 V). Multiple Wi-Fi transmit modes allow for fine-tuned control of output power, linearity, and power dissipation, delivering high linear output power and top-tier throughput while minimizing overall power consumption. The receive path incorporates technologies chosen to enhance Rx sensitivity and maintain consistent noise figure performance under a wide range of operating conditions.

The module also includes built-in die-level filtering to suppress second and third harmonics, along with 2.4 GHz rejection to support DBDC operation. An integrated power coupler allows for closed-loop power control and digital predistortion (DPD) optimization.

The QM45655 brings together a multi-state 5 GHz to 7 GHz Wi-Fi PA, a single-pole three-throw (SP3T) antenna switch, a bypassable low-noise amplifier (LNA) with multiple receive modes, and a power coupler are all within a single integrated solution.
